Industrial Stick Pack Packaging Technology
Stick pack packaging is one of the most efficient single-dose packaging formats available today. Formed from flexible barrier film rolls, stick packs feature top, bottom, and fin-seal (back seal) geometry. Compared to traditional 4-side seal sachets, stick packs consume up to 30% to 40% less packaging film, dramatically reducing material costs and environmental footprint while offering maximum convenience for end-users.
Fodapack designs and manufactures state-of-the-art multi-lane and single-lane stick pack packaging machinery serving global brand owners, contract packers, and multinational food/pharmaceutical producers across 50+ countries.

Specialized Solution: Ice Lolly & Ice Pop Packaging Lines
Ice lollies and ice pops represent a growing market segment worldwide. Liquid flavored liquid or fruit juice is filled into elongated stick packs, sealed, and subsequently frozen. Fodapack builds extended-length stick pack machines equipped with specialized vertical sealers, stainless steel mixing tanks, jacketed holding hoppers, and transfer pumps to guarantee airtight sealing under low-viscosity filling conditions.
Global Engineering Standards & Technical Specifications
Every Fodapack stick pack machine is manufactured with premium European and international brand components including Siemens or Schneider PLC systems, Festo pneumatic actuators, Omron sensors, and Schneider electrical protections to ensure 24/7 continuous operation in factory environments.

7-Step Automated Packaging Process
Our automated stick pack machines carry out a fully integrated process in fractions of a second:
- Film Unwinding & Tensioning: Automatic motorized unwinding with constant optical edge alignment.
- Multi-Lane Slitting & Forming: Rotary blades cut film web into individual lanes, wrapped around forming tubes.
- Longitudinal Fin Sealing: Heated sealing bars execute precise back vertical seals.
- Precision Dosing & Injection: Auger, volumetric cup, or piston pumps inject exact product quantities.
- Transverse Top/Bottom Sealing: Temperature-controlled jaw seals stick pack top and bottom ends.
- Coding & Tear Notching: Thermal transfer printing for expiry dates, batch numbers, and micro-perforated tear notches.
- Cutting & Outfeed Discharge: Rotary or guillotine blades cut individual sticks onto outfeed conveyors.
